Logical Antithesis

Well, I don’t know if this is official or not … but we just saw a robin out our back door today! Yes, a robin in February! This is the earliest I have ever seen a robin, and while it might indicate a mild winter I refuse to bet on that. March has been coming in like a lion for the past few years here, so I think it’s only the calm before the snow(storm).

I guess I’ll get my shovel on Monday and try to find the poor robin in a snow drift. I do believe it should have used good judgement and stayed where it was warm, at least for another month.
