Does Hell Exist?

2 days ago by Administrator

I recently read a relatively persuasive argument that hell does not exist. This is utter fallacy as you will soon see, and it is not an invention of the Catholic Church to enforce obedience. But then again, the word hell doesn’t do the place justice.

This essay is a foray into the scriptural heresy of: there is no hell. This entry makes heavy use of scripture and context, and is not for the faint of heart.

Robots rule the earth ... not!

3 days ago by Administrator

Have you ever wondered just how much credence to give those wacky tales that robots will rule the earth? Wonder no longer! I’ve been a programmer for almost nine years in roughly three languages, and have even messed in the latest “evolutionary computing” craze. I’ll give you an honest evaluation of hardware and software, as well as our own human limitations.

Moon craters and age

NASA has finally given credence to amateur astronomers seeing “flashes” coming from the moon. And after a two and a half year study the figures are in. Flashes are seen on the surface of the moon, and NASA has counted one hundred in their study. But is that all we could say on the subject?

The "satisfied" life of a consumer

Does all the junk you buy make you happy? Does soda? Do all the things promised by the commercials on TV and radio really come true? Or, is it all brainwash designed to make companies richer, while people consume their goods almost mindlessly at frightening rates?

Did you ever wonder why you “can’t just eat one”?

Evolution: A Linguistic Abomination

The walls are bare

Please excuse the mess and lack of content. I just changed content management systems from a wiki-like CMS known as Enano to Textpattern. I liked Textpattern more and I found myself in love with the markup language they use called Textile. It’s just so much easier now.

Oh yeah, and I have a chip on my shoulder too. I’m so sick of evolution being passed off as a theory when it’s nothing more than a bunch of bunk you’ve been sold, sold to keep you from critical thinking.

I heard Technorati describe christians, like me, as anti-technology and anti-progress. I don’t really see that because I’m just pro-balance. If you progress too far you end up flopping. Just like the Romans took partying too far and ended up getting walloped by a bunch of German barbarians.

So anyway, please be patient while I finish getting used to the new stuff and actually get around to writing articles. Instead of half-serious rants like this.
